CAJUN ANDOUILLE & BLUE CHEESE BURGERS

INGREDIENTS

1 pound ground chuck or ground round
1 pound andouille sausage
1 large onion
Blue cheese crumbled
Olive oil or oil of preference
Condiments & toppings of choice
Favorite type of hamburger roll
Cajun Gator Bite Spice Rub


DIRECTIONS

Fry onions in a fry pan with oil of preference until they become soft & translucent.

Next, take the andouille sausage out of the casings & mix thoroughly with the ground beef.

Form meat into 4oz. patties. Shake the Cajun Spice Rub liberally onto both sides of the burgers. Rub the spices gently into both sides of the meat with both hands.

Cook burgers over an open flame or in a fry pan to desired doneness. * Be careful not to burn the burgers or they will dry out & lose flavor. The spice rub will create a flavorful concentrated crust on the outside of the burgers while sealing in the juices.

Combine the burgers, onions, blue cheese crumbles, & desired toppings to your favorite roll & enjoy.
